Skiing on the Stubai Glacier
The Stubai Glacier is just 40 km distance from Axams; this gives skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts the chance of practising their favourite sport in the summer and autumn.
The glacier has 110 kilometres of slopes and is Austria's largest glacier skiing area, with guaranteed skiing fun from October till June. A total of 25 cableways and lifts give skiers access to countless slopes and runs of varying levels of difficulty - for beginners and experienced skiers alike.
